This interactive workshop can be offered in one session, or as two sessions with more hands-on components. At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to define unconscious bias and related terms, contextualize unconscious bias in major sectors and respective fields, recognize unconscious bias in relevant case studies and selected media, and address unconscious bias through evidence-based strategies. The workshop is geared towards educators working in the health sciences.
