Biography

Dr. Lauren Woods is a graduate from University of Tennessee Health Science Center (BS in Occupational Therapy in 2002). She has clinical experience in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation serving adult and pediatric populations, home health, and public school system. She is a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP). She previously earned her Masters in Leadership and Policy Studies with a concentration in Leadership. She earned her PhD in Educational Psychology at University of Memphis. Dr. Woods is currently an Associate Professor in the Occupational Therapy department at University of Tennessee Health Science Center teaching pediatrics, mental health, and group therapy courses in addition to working PRN at a local pediatric hospital.
